A children advisory group is formed in Ireland

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989) states that children have the right to form and express their own views and to give and receive information. University College Cork, our project partner in Ireland, recruited a group of children and young people to be the IMMERSE Children and Youth Research Advisory Group. This group will be make sures that children’s idea’s and voices are an important part of the IMMERSE Project.

The researchers created an information leaflet for children who might be interested in joining the group. Here you can see the flyer prepared (only available in English).

The group will meet twice a year along the project’s journey to gather the children’s feedback on different parts of the project. We are excited to have their participation and we are convinced that their contribution will be a key to the development of IMMERSE project.
