Second meeting of the CYPAG: reviewing the IMMERSE questionaires

The Children and Youth Research Advisory Group (CYPAG) from Ireland, has just met for the second time. Led by the University College Cork project members, the children had a project update. By this time, the current IMMERSE dashboard of indicators is ready to become the basis for a survey instrument to be used for large-scale data collection in each one of the project members’ country. Then, the data will be analysed with the goal of producing policy recommendations. Research teams will also be collecting examples of best practice to create a databank of resources for educators, researchers, and policy-makers interested in educational integration.

In the this second meeting the CYPAG reviewed the IMMERSE children’s questionaire. They gave feedback about each question using these three questions:

  1. Clarity: Do you understand the questions?
  2. Adequacy: Do you think the question is important for understanding if children are integrated into school?
  3. Suggestions for improvements?
